Day by Day Plan
Day 1
Fly to Arba Minch, Dorze Village & Lake Chamo
Fly from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch and enjoy the beautiful view of the Rift Valley lakes and green hills. Drive to a Dorze village and explore their unique bamboo houses, local weaving, and traditional lifestyle. Meet local families and learn how they prepare food and use natural materials in daily life. In the afternoon, take a boat trip on Lake Chamo to see crocodiles, hippos, and many bird species.
Your overnight stay will be at Darose Hotel.
Day 2
Drive to Konso & Continue to Turmi via Bena Tribe
Drive from Arba Minch to Konso and visit a traditional village known for its stone terraces and cultural practices. Walk through the village and learn about the Konso people’s farming system and social structure. Continue driving toward Turmi through changing landscapes and remote areas. On the way, stop to visit the Bena people and observe their daily life and traditions.

Day 3
Excursion to Dassanech Tribe
Drive from Turmi toward the Omo River to visit the Dassanech people, who live in a very hot and dry region. Cross the river if needed and enter the village to see their simple homes made from local materials. Learn how they adapt to a difficult environment and manage water and food resources. Return to Turmi in the afternoon and enjoy some rest after the long journey.

Day 4
Visit Karo & Hamer Tribes
Drive from Turmi to visit the Karo people, who are well known for their detailed body painting and river views. Walk through the village and see how they decorate their bodies using natural colors and patterns. After the visit, return toward Turmi and continue to a Hamer village nearby. Experience Hamer culture, including their dances, hairstyles, and daily village life.

Day 5
Drive to Jinka, Visit Mursi & Fly Back
Drive from Turmi to Jinka through the Omo Valley, passing different landscapes and small villages. On the way or after arrival, visit the Mursi people, known for the lip plates worn by women. Learn about their traditions, social life, and strong cultural identity in a respectful way.
later, you will have a farewell Dinner an ready for your departure.and fly back to Addis Ababa, ending your Omo Valley journey.
